Men's Tennis Wraps Play at Ivy-Plus
September 25, 2016 | Men's Tennis
Sunday was the final day for the Princeton men's tennis team at the Ivy-Plus Invitational, co-hosted by Princeton and Penn.
"Collectively, we had some good results this weekend, especially at the Penn site," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "At the Princeton site, we had a lot of tough matches, and though we were successful in several, I felt we left some wins out there. Nonetheless, it was a great tournament with some very strong national teams competing. We were able to get some much-needed reps against tough players and that will clearly help us going forward."
Results can be found here, and Princeton's results from Sunday are below.
The ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa are up next for select Tiger players. Alex Day, Luke Gamble and Diego Vives are on the qualifying singles list, for which play will begin Oct. 3, and Day and Gamble are in the main doubles draw, for which play will begin Oct. 6.
