Princeton Chase Set For Sunday At Lake Carnegie
October 26, 2017 | Heavyweight Rowing, Women's Rowing - Open, Women's Rowing - Lightweight, Men's Rowing - Lightweight
PRINCETON CHASE LIVE RESULTS
The 2017 Princeton Chase is set for Sunday, Oct. 29, and it will again conclude a solid fall for all four Princeton rowing teams. Unlike the Head of the Charles, which was held last weekend, the Chase will include only collegiate boats, and will begin at 9 am with heavyweight 8+ racing.
That we know. It gets a little trickier from there.
The original schedule, which you can find here, goes through 1:30 pm and includes fours and novice eights later in the day. However, weather concerns could impact the Chase and limit racing to varsity eights alone. A final decision will be made by Friday at 2 pm; all announcements will be posted on twitter (@TigerHeavies) and on Instagram (@tigerheavies), as well as by using #PrincetonChase2017.
The Princeton lightweight men opened the fall racing season in impressive fashion by winning the Head of the Charles last weekend in a course record time, though all four programs had good early looks at their squads. More Princeton boats will be in competition this weekend at the Chase, and the heavyweights will look to defend their 8+ title from last year.
