Princeton is unbeaten in its last four meetings including a 2-1 victory over Cornell from this past Saturday. With a 4-6-4 record, all six of the Tigers' losses have been one-goal decisions. Junior Jeremy Colvin leads the offense with 11 points on five goals and one assist. Three players have four points: freshman Kevin O'Toole, senior Daniel Bowkett and senior James Reiner, while senior Harry Heffernan has three including a goal against the Big Red. Eight additional players have a point or more. Sophomore Jacob Schachner has started in all but one game and has a 0.98 goals against average and a .791 save percentage with 53 saves. Freshman Sam Morton made six saves in a shutout win over St. John's on Oct. 10.
The Dragons are 2-13-1 on the season and have been hit by an eight-game losing skid. The team's last victory was a 2-1 OT win over Northeastern on Sept. 30. Tuesday's game will be the final game for the Dragons this season. Mathias Ebbesen and Sebastien Cabral sit atop the scoring column with six points each. Ebbesen has scored two goals and two assists, while Cabral has scored three times. Xavier Hernandez has the most assists on the team with four. Jacob Jordan has played every minute in goal and has a .209 GAA and a .754 save percentage.
The is the 10th meeting between Princeton and Drexel. The teams first met in 1984, with Princeton holding a 6-2-1 advantage in the series, having won the last six meetings all via shutout. Last year in Philadelphia, defender Henry Martin put the Tigers on the board with a late goal in the first hal before Nicholas Badalamenti added another in the 57th. Shots on goal fell 6-3 in favor of the Tigers.
