Princeton resumes its Ivy League schedule on Saturday, Oct. 7 when it travels to Brown for a 7 p.m., contest. Both teams lost in their conference openers last weekend, Princeton at Dartmouth and Brown at Columbia.
The Tigers are coming off of a 2-0 shutout over Villanova on Wednesday night. Freshman Kevin O'Toole had a goal and an assist to move into second place in the scoring column with four points, matching seniors Daniel Bowkett and James Reiner. Junior Jeremy Colvin has scored a team-high three goals and has one assist for seven points. In goal, sophomore Jacob Schachner owns a 1.12 goals against average and a .738 save percentage.
Brown holds a 35-21-9 edge in the all-time series, which dates back to 1948. The series has been even lately, as the last six meetings have ended up 2-2-2. The Bears took a 1-0 game last year in Princeton with Louis Zingas scoring in the 53rd minute, while Princeton held a 21-10 shot advantage.
The Bears are 5-2-1 on the season, starting off on a four-game win streak before a 1-2-1 stretch. Junior Toby Howell leads the offense with nine points in eight games, scoring four of his teams nine goals and chipping in one assist. Seniors Quinn English and Nico Lozada contribute four points apiece from the midfield. Senior Joey Cipicchio has played every minute in net and has a 0.85 GAA and a .781 save percentage.
