The Princeton University athletics department mourns the the passing of former head coach of men's cross country and assistant coach of men's track & field Mike Brady.
Brady passed away on Thursday, Nov. 23 at his home in Lambertville, N.J., at the age of 63. Funeral arrangements are being completed by Wilson-Apple Funeral Home in Pennington, N.J. While at Princeton from 1992-2004, Brady helped the Tigers win 17 Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, including three straight Triple Crowns from 1997-00. He was twice named the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Cross Country Coach of the Year. In 1994, the DMR of Chris Lear '96, Scott Anderson '96, Andy Collins '96 and Alex Hastings '94 earned All-America honors with its fourth-place NCAA finish. In 1999, Paul Morrison '02 and Mike Spence '00 gained All-America honors in cross country under the tutelage of Brady.
