ECAC Championship Host Men's Tennis Team Seeded Third, Faces Harvard Friday

For the first time since 2000, the ECAC Championship men's tennis tournament will be held at Princeton.
Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, St. John's and Yale will join the Tigers in the eight-team event, which will get underway Friday on Jadwin Gym's indoor courts. Admission is free, the matches will be streamed on the Ivy League Digital Network, the bracket is available here, and the schedule is as follows:
Friday:
(4) Penn vs. (5) Dartmouth, 9 a.m.
(1) Columbia vs. (8) St. John's, 12 p.m.
(2) Cornell vs. (7) Yale, 3 p.m.
(3) Princeton vs. (6) Harvard, 6 p.m.
Saturday:
Penn/Dartmouth loser vs. Columbia/St. John's loser, 9 a.m.
Penn/Dartmouth winner vs. Columbia/St. John's winner, 12 p.m.
Cornell/Yale winner vs. Princeton/Harvard winner, 3 p.m.
Cornell/Yale loser vs. Princeton/Harvard loser, 6 p.m.
Sunday:
7th-place match, 8 a.m.
3rd-place match, 10 a.m.

Princeton is the defending champion of the event, which was held at Penn last year. The Tigers swept through Brown, Penn and Cornell to take the title, the program's first since 2001.
Columbia was ranked 19th in the nation as of the Feb. 8 ITA rankings, in which Cornell also received votes. A new team ranking will be out Wednesday. The field boasts eight ITA-ranked singles players, led by Columbia's Shawn Hadavi at No. 39 and including Princeton's Payton Holden at No. 101, and five ranked doubles pairs, led by Columbia's Richard Pham and Victor Pham and including Princeton's No. 20 Alex Day and Luke Gamble.
