Kauppila Leads Men's Track at Raleigh Relays

Noah Kauppila's fifth-place finish in the 1500 was the best among Tigers across the three events in which members of the Princeton men's track and field team competed at the Raleigh Relays hosted Friday by North Carolina State.
Kauppila finished the event in 3:45.09, less than three seconds off the pace set by Yale's James Randon, who won the race in 3:42.33.
Conor Lundy led five Princeton finishers in the 5K, placing 16th in 14:09.45. Virginia's Henry Wynne won that event in 13:43.53.
The only other event in which a Tiger clocked a time was the 10K, where Wolfgang Beck finished 51st in 30:42.62. Louisville's Edwin Kibichiy won that race in 28:38.06.
Princeton's results are below and complete results can be found here. The Tigers will compete next at the Penn Challenge Saturday in Philadelphia.
