The Harvard Invitational women's golf tournament will be held a long way from Harvard this weekend as Princeton, the Crimson and four more Ivies head to Osprey, Fla., on the state's gulf coast.
Six of the seven Ivy programs will be in the field, with Brown, Dartmouth, Penn and Yale joining Harvard and Princeton, as well as Boston University and Rollins. The first tee times for a 36-hole Saturday are at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start set for Sunday's final round at 8:30 a.m. on the par-72, 6,138-yard Heron Course at The Oaks Club. Live scoring is available via Golfstat.
It'll be the first of two April visits for the Tigers to Florida with the Ivy League Championships set for the Orange Tree Golf Club in Orlando beginning April 21.
Princeton's first tournament of the fall sent the Tigers to California for the Sacramento State Invitational where Hana Ku tied for fourth to lead Princeton to a second-place finish, just one shot behind winner Sacramento State.
After the Harvard Invite, the Tigers will head to their only other tournament before the Ivy meet, competing at the Georgetown Hoya Invitational in Maryland beginning April 10.
