The Tigers (10-9, 0-0 Ivy) will head to No. 24 Cornell (15-3, 0-1) Friday at 2 p.m. before hosting No. 22 Columbia (12-3, 1-0) Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Lenz Tennis Center or in Jadwin Gym in the event of inclement weather. The team's Twitter account, @PtonMensTennis, will have updates.
The Big Red had won seven of eight before falling 4-1 to Columbia in last weekend's Ivy opener. Columbia has won 10 of 11 with the only loss on March 17 at Texas. Both programs are on the ITA singles and doubles lists, with Columbia counting No. 67 Victor Pham, No. 97 Shawn Hadavi and No. 125 Jackie Tang as ranked singles players, Pham and brother Richard Pham as the No. 28 doubles team, and Hadavi and Tang as the No. 87 doubles team. Cornell has Lev Kozakov as the No. 108-ranked singles player.
Princeton has senior Alex Day and junior Luke Gamble as the No. 25-ranked doubles pair. Kial Kaiser leads the team with nine wins in dual-match play, ans Day and Gamble have 12 wins in dual matches.
Cornell has won the last two against Princeton, including an ECAC Championship tournament win this season and last year's Ivy match, since the Tigers won in last year's ECAC tournament. The Lions have won the last seven against Princeton since the Tigers' last series win during the 2011 Ivy season.
