It's McCarthy's fifth multi-goal game in the last two seasons. She has 20 goals in her last 27 games after scoring 12 in the first 37 games of her career.

The Tornetta sisters combined for 11 shots in the game and three assists. Julianna Tornetta was second on the squad with seven shots, adding two helpers. Four different players scored for Princeton.

It did not take long for the Tigers to put on the offensive fireworks as it recorded a penalty corner just 90 seconds in.

In the seventh minute, McCarthy ripped a shot that deflected into the air before Clara Roth touched it before it dropped into the cage.
After a Dartmouth turnover, Sophia Tornetta took the ball and drew the goalie out from the cage before quickly sliding it over to McCarthy. Princeton tried to add on with four corners over a four-minute span, but its best attempt hit the post. Dartmouth's greatest scoring chance came with five minutes left in the first half. Jane Donio-Enscoe snagged her first goal of the season right before the intermission.
Despite a three-goal advantage, the Tigers' offense hardly slowed down in the second half. They sent seven shots on the cage in the first eight minutes, but couldn't convert. The Tigers wrapped up the scoring on a perfectly executed penalty corner. Rachel Park inserted to Julianna Tornetta, who stopped it for McCarthy. Princeton outshot Dartmouth, 32-3, and held the Big Screen without a shot attempt in the second half. The Tigers also had a 17-2 advantage in penalty corners in the contest. Princeton improves to 3-4 overall while Dartmouth falls to 2-5. Head coach Carla Tagliente's team continues its road trip at No. 24 Boston University tomorrow.
