The meet gets underway at Gordon Track at 11 a.m., with the field events, while the first running event is at 1:30 p.m.
The men's team is undefeated in the last 25 HYP meets, winning from every year since 1989. Last year the squad scored a 110.5 points, while Harvard managed 41 and Yale 28. Since the first HYP meet in 1953, Princeton has claimed 33 titles, with Harvard trailing with 19 and Yale with 10. Princeton holds HYP records in 10 of 17 events.
Last year the Tigers won every single field event. The triple jump and the high jump have been the team's most successful in this meet, as they have not lost since 2006. Xavier Bledsoe '17 won the high jump in 2017 with Andrew Diehl as the runner-up. Stefan Amokwandoh claimed the triple victory. Greg Leeper '17 brought Princeton a 1-2-3-4 finish in the long jump, while August Kiles tied the meet record in the pole vault with a 5.30. Princeton has won the 60 every season since 2010 - eight in a row - and have won the last five 200s. Last year Carrington Akosa and Charlie Volker went 1-2 in the 60, while Akosa also claimed the 200 with a meet record 21.46. Josh Freeman won the 400 with a time of 48.16, to make Princeton's top-10 list in the event. A Tiger has won the last eight 800 races with Noah Kauppila taking the top honor last year with a 1:51.85 - the 10th fastest time in program history. Zachary Albright clocked 4:05.93 to win the mile. In the 60 hurdles, Joey Daniels ran a meet record of 7.96 - marking the first time in meet history a hurdler ran under 8.00. The Tigers won both relays last year and has a streak of six straight in the 4x800.
The women's team have won the last three HYP's and have won 11 of 18 since 2000.
Last year, Princeton's middle distance claimed wins in the 400 and 500. Ashley Willingham won the 400 at 58.26 while Elissa Steele '17 ran a PR in the 500. The 4x400 won with a three-second beat on Harvard. The most impressive performance of the day was Allison Harris '17 in the pole vault.
