O'Brien Shares Ivy League Player of the Week Honor

For the third time in her career, Tiger junior Courtney O'Brien has earned Ivy League weekly honors, as her two goals in Princeton's 2-0 win against Harvard last Saturday have earned her Ivy League Co-Player of the Week recognition.

O'Brien was named the Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 11, 2017 and Oct. 9, 2017.

O'Brien has scored in six games in her career, and in five of those games, she scored twice, as she did Saturday in the 47th and 60th minutes. Those were the only goals in Princeton's win, which allowed the Tigers to move into a second-place tie with Harvard and three points back of Penn. If the Tigers win their last two games, this Saturday at Cornell and Nov. 3 at home against Penn, they would at least be tied with Penn for the Ivy title and own the tiebreaker for the league's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
