Poling Battles in Three-Setter at USTA Futures Doubles Event

Princeton freshman Karl Poling and doubles partner and fellow New Yorker Cannon Kingsley dropped a three-set match to China's Chenhe Li and American Neel Rajesh as the doubles main draw began Tuesday at the USTA Futures event in Birmingham, Ala.
Poling and Kingsley won the first set, but their opponents bounced back to prevail both in a tight second set and a tiebreak third set, 1-6, 7-5, (10-7).

The Tigers will send four players - Bill Duo, Will Peters, Davey Roberts and Payton Holden - to the Lakewood Ranch Invitational beginning Friday as the fall season winds down.
