Asom, Rickerson Earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region Honors

Following another Ivy title-winning season, senior Mimi Asom and sophomore Lucy Rickerson have been named United Soccer Coaches All-East Region honorees, the organization announced Monday.

Asom, a first-team all-region selection and the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year, led the league with 12 goals and 25 points to finish with 43 goals and 95 points in her career, both the third-highest totals in program history. A four-time All-Ivy League honoree and a two-time first-teamer, it's the second time Asom has been named all-region along with a second-team honor in 2015.

Rickerson, a second-team all-region pick, is a two-time All-Ivy selection and a first-teamer this year. She has helped anchor a back line that has allowed 33 goals over the past two seasons.

The pair helped the Tigers finish 11-4-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the Ivy League, winning the Ivy title for the second consecutive year and again advancing to the NCAA tournament.
