Asom Named United Soccer Coaches All-America Honoree

The Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year is now a United Soccer Coaches All-America honoree.
Following a season that saw senior Mimi Asom lead the Ivy League with 12 goals and 25 points and help Princeton win the Ivy and return to the NCAA tournament for the third time in four years, Asom has been named to the United Soccer Coaches second-team All-America.Â
It is the fourth consecutive year Princeton has had an NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches All-America winner, along with Tyler Lussi '17 on the second team in 2015 and third team in 2016 and Vanessa Gregoire '18 on the second team in 2017. It is the second time in program history that Princeton has had an All-America honoree in four consecutive seasons, along with 1982-85.
Asom ended her career with the third-most goals (43) and third-most points (95) in program history.
