Princeton No. 4 In National Coaches' Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – As the NCAA Tournament gets underway this week, the Princeton Tigers climbed to No. 4 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll, the organization announced today.
Princeton will host No. 13 Virginia on Friday at 12 p.m. at Bedford Field on Nov. 9. The second contest features No. 6 Harvard vs. No. 9 Penn State at 2:30 p.m. The winner of each matchup will face off on Sunday at 1 p.m. with the right to go to the Final Four.
Undefeated North Carolina earned all 43 first-place votes to secure the top spot in the poll. Maryland, Duke, Princeton and UConn round out the top five.
Tagliente's unit is currently 13-4 overall, boasting six victories over ranked opponents. Two of its signature victories include a comeback victory over then No. 4 Duke (Sept. 7) and a dominating 5-2 win at then No. 3 UConn (Oct. 7). The Tigers have an RPI of No. 4 after facing 10 national ranked foes.
