Fillier Named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week; Princeton Moves to #6

Sarah Fillier has been named the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week after leading the league in scoring this past weekend. She totaled five points, scoring two goals and three assists. In addition she won 58.6 percent of her face offs and finished with a +4.
Fillier was a factor in five of Princeton's seven goals in a sweep of Quinnipiac. On Friday she had three assists in a 3-2 win and then scored twice in a 4-1 win on Saturday. Averaging 2.50 points per game, she led the nation's rookies in scoring this week.
Princeton improved to No. 6 in the national poll this week, as they sit at the top of the ECAC standings with an undefeated 6-0-2 mark and are 7-2-3 overall.
The Tigers face Rensselaer and Union this weekend on the road in the final games before the holiday break.
