Samara Unanimous Choice for Coach of the Year; 16 Earn All-Ivy League Honors

Princeton head coach Fred Samara was unanimously selected as the Ivy League Coach of the Year as Princeton claimed its 21st indoor title on Sunday. Samara, who was inducted into the National Hall of Fame this past December, has won the honor five of the seven times it has been awarded.
Ten Tigers earned first-team All-Ivy League honors with seniors Josh Freeman and Garrett O'Toole winning two apiece in the 400 and Mile and then a dominating performance in the distance medley relay. Kauppila was also a two-time all-Ivy League honoree, taking first in the DMR and second-team honors in the mile.
