His outdoor season in the hammer throw begins in just a couple of weeks as he looks to make his return to outdoor NCAA Championships. A two-time NCAA Regional Qualifier in the event, Kelly was 14th at the 2016 NCAA Championships.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (3/10/18) - Junior Adam Kelly competed in his second consecutive NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship in the weight throw this afternoon at Texas A&M.
Kelly fouled on each of his three attempts. The 2018 Ivy League Heptagonal Champion in the event, Kelly reached the NCAAs with the 11th best throw in the nation with a 22.09 (72-5.75). Kelly has a personal best of 22.62 (74-2.50) in the event and was ninth one year ago. He ranks second in the weight all-time at Princeton.
