Seton Hall Defeats Princeton In Non-Conference Action

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Seton Hall Pirates (13-13-1) earned a 28-8 victory over the Princeton Tigers (7-14) at Clarke Field on Wednesday evening.

Chris Davis reached base three times and scored twice. Asher Lee-Tyson and Jesper Horsted also scored two runs each. Eric Rojas had three strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings of work in the loss.

Princeton got on the board with a three-spot in the first inning. A wild pitch gave the Tigers their first run before a two-run single from Conor Nolan. Seton Hall took a commanding 9-3 advantage in the second inning and never looked back in the game. The game was called after eight innings because of darkness.

Sebastian Santorelli and Connor Hood had three hits each for the Pirates. Seton Hall finished with 20 hits and walked 16 times.
