Tomasiewicz Nogay ’79 To Be Inducted Into Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame

PRINCETON, N.J. – Former Princeton Tiger Claire Beth Tomasiewicz Nogay '79 will be inducted into the Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame in October, the Fairfield County Sports Commission announced.
The Commission's 14th annual Sports Night awards dinner will take place on October 15th, 2018 at the Stamford Marriot at 6 p.m.
Tomasiewicz Nogay graduated as Princeton's all-time leading scorer (1,622). She's the program's all-time leader in scoring average (17.1), field goals (663), steals (329), sits third in points, fifth in free throws made (296) and free throws attempted (457) and ninth in assists (298).
The three-time Ivy champion has the three greatest single-season steal records and has the single-game accolade with 10 swipes vs. Yale in 1976. She also had one of the greatest freshman seasons of all-time with the top scoring average (16.9, 75-76), field goals made (188), field goal attempted (389), steals (81) and third highest assist total (79).
Tomasiewicz Nogay was also selected in the sixth round of the Women's Professional Basketball League college draft in 1979.
