Princeton Travels to Rider for Wednesday Night Game

Princeton moved to 3-3 after sweeping last week's opponents. Senior Jeremy Colvin scored both game-winning goals to capture Ivy League Player of the Week honors. He sits second in the scoring column, behind senior Sean McSherry who has two goals and two assists. Junior Danny Hampton and sophomore Gaby Paniagua have two points apiece. Junior Jacob Schachner has a 0.82 goals against average and a .722 save percentage with 13 saves on 18 shots.
Princeton holds a 14-3-3 advantage in the all-time series with Rider, since it first began in 1941. The Tigers have won the last two meetings with matching 3-1 scores, in 2016 and 2012. Rider's last win in the series was a 3-2 game in 2002.
Rider is 1-4-1 overall and most recently dropped a 3-0 decision at LIU Brooklyn on Saturday. Like Princeton, Rider also faced Temple, however it came out on the losing end in overtime. Elliott Otmani and Pablo DeCastro are the team's two goals scorers this season. Rider has been shutout of scoring in four of its six games. Defensively the team averages 1.09 goals allowed per game. The Broncs have utilized both Pablo Gatinois and Garrett Potter in goal. Potter has played the majority of minutes and has a 1.41 GAA and a .647 save percentage, while Gatinois has a 0.47 GAA and a .750 save percentage.
