Many Set New Personal Records At Navy Invite

Annapolis, Md. – The Princeton Tigers had three personal records set in the 1000m event highlighted by Anna Jurew (2:47.14) posting the second quickest time in program history.
Jurew, Alie Fordyce (2:48.17) and Sophie Cantine (2:48.17) placed second, third and fourth in the 1000m race. It was a personal-best for each runner while Jurew moves into second all-time while Fordyce is now third and Cantine fifth.
Isabella Hilditch won the 60m hurdles event with an 8.63, good for the fourth fastest time in indoor history.
Katie DiFrancesco (24.51) and Hilditch (24.93) were 1-2 in the 200m dash. DiFrancesco's pace puts her fourth among Princeton indoor runners and is tied for 28th in Division I. Hilditch is ninth all-time.
The distance medley relay squad (Offstein, Berardo, Fordyce and Cantine) posted the eighth promptest time ever for the indoor squad (11:25.66). The mark was second in the six-team event and also the second-best in the NCAA to date with much of the schools starting DMR next week.
The group of DiFrancesco, Baron, Willingham and Bonnet) in the 4x400m relay secured the fifth best time on the indoor record book (3:47.32), winning the event. It's also the 26th quickest time in the country this season.
Hanne Borstlap had a personal-best 3.95m in the pole vault, taking the victory. It's tied for the third best record by Princeton indoor standards and is tied for the 18th best in Division-I.
Melia Chittenden won the 3000m race with a 9:47.52, which is the 16th fastest time in the nation. Allie Klimkiewicz was second (9:50.62), also placing inside the top 20 in Division-I. Sierra Castaneda ran fifth (10:04.20) while Mim Buscher was sixth (10:05.94).
Jackie Berardo finished second in the 800m (2:15.06), which was one of the top runs in the nation (24th). Clare Martin picked up a top-five accolade (2:16.74) in a field of 13 runners.
Ashley Willingham (56.71), who snagged a personal best for indoors, and Heide Barron (57.12) secured top four finishes in the 400m race.
Emma Daugherty placed third in the high jump (1.65) while Hadley Wilhoite was tied for fifth (1.60m).
The Tigers will take some time before hosting HYP at Jadwin Gym on Jan. 26.
