Late Goal Lifts Brown Over Princeton, 1-0

A pivotal match in the developing Ivy League race went to Brown, which used an 81st-minute goal to get past the Princeton women's soccer team 1-0 Saturday in Providence.
Ava Seelenfreund headed home an across-the-18 pass from Maesyn G'Bye for the game's lone goal, which kept Brown in first place in the Ivy at 3-0 alongside Harvard, which won 3-0 at Cornell.
The Tigers (4-5-2, 1-2 Ivy) will return home for the team's final non-league game of the regular season Tuesday at 5 p.m. against Lehigh, with a Saturday night visit from Columbia next up in Ivy League play.

• Brown kept the Tigers from squaring the all-time series, as Brown now leads 20-18-4.Â
• Brown's win is the first home win for either team in the series since 2014, and each of the last four meetings has now been decided by one goal.
