Stellar Weekend Earns Roth Ivy Player of the Week Honor

PRINCETON, N.J. – Fresh off a remarkable 12-point weekend, Clara Roth was honored as the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today. It's her third weekly accolade of the year.

Roth picked up her first career hat trick and added an assist as Princeton ran by Brown, 6-0, on Saturday. She contributed two more goals and a helper as the Tigers took down Boston University, 3-1, on Sunday. The junior has corralled a goal in five straight games and in seven of her last eight contests. Roth also has a helper in three consecutive meetings.

For her career, Roth has already matched personal best for a season with 13 tallies and has set new career benchmark with 36 points this year. She is currently 11th all-time in points with 94 and tied for eight in assists (30).

Princeton sits at 10-4 overall and 4-0 in the Ivy League. The Tigers will take their seven-game winning streak to No. 14 Harvard on Saturday (12 p.m.) in a battle of the top two schools in the conference.
