Tigers Beat Penn to Cap Campaign

Seniors had the goals and the shutout in last weekend's home finale against Cornell, and in their final time wearing the Princeton uniform, the seniors did it again at Penn to close the 2019 season.
Abby Givens had Princeton's goal in the final minute of the opening half and Natalie Grossi made five saves for the shutout in a 1-0 win in Philadelphia Saturday. The goal was the 18th of Givens' career, and Grossi added to her Ivy-record career shutout total with her 31st.
With the shutout, the Tigers closed the season on a shutout streak of 300:22.
The Tigers close the season at 8-6-3 overall and 3-3-1 in the Ivy, extending their winning streak against Penn to three games, all shutouts, and making it five straight unbeaten matches against the Quakers.Â
