Princeton Announces 2020 Schedule

PRINCETON, N.J. – Head coach Derek Ellingson has announced the 2020 schedule today.
For the third consecutive year, Princeton will start the season at the Arizona State Invitational (Feb. 1-2). The Tigers will take on California East Bay, Somona State, Hawaii and the host school. Hawaii reached the NCAA Tournament last season.
DeNunzio Pool sees action for the first time with the Princeton Invitational (Feb. 15-16). The Tigers welcome Wagner and San Diego State on Feb. 15 and LIU on Feb. 16. Wagner was in the NCAA Tournament in 2019. Ellingson's group also has Iona (Feb. 19), La Salle (Feb. 20) and Villanova (Feb. 28) before a jaunt to George Washington to finish the month of February.
Princeton heads west to the San Diego State Invitational (Mar. 14-15). The Tigers battle Cal-State Northridge, Villanova, UC-San Diego and Hawaii. UC-San Diego was also in the NCAA Tournament in last season. While in California, Ellingson's squad plays Concordia (Mar. 18) and Long Beach State (Mar. 18) before finishing with the Loyola Marymount Invitational (Mar. 20-21) that features Azusa Pacific, Pomona-Pitzer, San Jose State and LMU.
Wagner comes to Princeton on March 25th before a trip to St. Francis for Collegiate Water Polo Association action vs. Michigan, Brown (Mar. 28) and the home squad (Mar. 29).
Month of April begins with home battles vs. Harvard (Apr. 4) and Bucknell (Apr. 5). The regular season comes to a close with a trek to Providence, R.I., as the Tigers take on Michigan, Saint Francis (Apr. 10) and Brown (Apr. 11).
The CWPA Championships take place Apr. 24-26 at Michigan.
