Princeton Starts Busy Weekend With Stellar Harvard Invite

CAMBRIDGE, Mass – The Princeton Tigers placed second at the Harvard Invitational behind several personal-bests.

Dayo Abeeb crushed his best triple jump mark with a 15.29m, winning the event. He also moved into the top-10 all-time as his jump puts him eighth.

C.J. Licata demolished a career-best with 18.0m shot put, earning a victory among 13 competitors. On his third throw, Licata reached the mark that now places him seventh in indoor history. Kelton Chastulik was second (16.79m) as Princeton took the top two spots.

Jeffrey Hollis took home the high jump event (2.14m), just shy of his personal-best (2.15m). Andrew Diehl was second with a personal mark (2.09m).

In the long jump, Gilron Tsabkevich placed third (7.04).

Princeton's 55 points was just behind Monmouth, who totaled 64. The Tigers had seven competitors at the Invite while the Hawks had 26. The Tigers have a quick turnaround with a trip to the Villanova Invitational at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex tomorrow.
