Tigers Capture Team & Individual All-Academic Honors

The Princeton men's cross country team along with five members of the program have been honored by U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as the organization announced All-Academic honors this afternoon..
The team qualified for All-Academic team honors with an overall GPA of 3.33. Earning individual academic honors are: Viraj Deokar, Matt Grossman and Gannon Willcutts.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
Princeton has earned the honors as a team every season since 2009. This is the second all-academic cross country honor for boh Deokar and Willcutts and first for Grossman.
