Princeton Earns Team & Individual All-Academic Honors

The Princeton women's cross country team along with five members of the program have been honored by U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as the organization announced All-Academic honors this afternoon..
The team qualified for All-Academic team honors with an overall GPA of 3.51. Earning individual academic honors are: Sophie Cantine, Melia Chittenden, Alie Fordyce, Allie Klimkiewicz and Madison Offstein.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
Princeton has earned the team honor every single season since 2008 when the awards began. The five Tigers earning all-academic honors are the most since 2010 when three Tigers earned the honors - a new program best.
