PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton men's track and field team had a stellar Princeton Invitational at Jadwin Gym today in preparation for next week's Ivy League Heps.
Â
In the 60m hurdles preliminaries, Princeton had five runners qualify for the final, highlighted by Joey Daniels' (7.86). Â
In the final, Daniels matched his personal low (7.81), which is also the program record. It's the top mark in the Ivy League and the 19th fastest time in the NCAA. Brown was second (7.98) and Whitfield was third (8.28).
Â
Avriam Shwarzbard won the long jump (7.53m) which is tied for the eighth in indoor history and is the leading jump in the conference in the winter.
Â
Stefan Amokwandoh had the best triple jump (15.11m), good for the fifth furthest in the Ivy winter campaign.
Â
C.J. Licata (18.08m) and Kelton Chastulik (17.30m) led all competitors in the shot put. Licata's mark is a new personal high and extends his lead for best shot put among Ivy foes.
