February 16, 2019 | Women's Track and Field
PRINCETON, N.J. – Ellie Randolph highlighted the final home meet of the winter season for the Princeton women's track and field squad on Saturday afternoon.
Isabella Hilditch (8.78) and Randolph (8.81) qualified for the 60m hurdles finals with two of the top three times.
In the finals, Randolph took the fastest run (8.59), which is a new career-high and solidifies her spot as the third quickest ever by a Princeton athlete. Hilditch (8.72) placed second. The two Tigers sit tied for ninth (8.59) in the conference.
Hanne Borstlap set a new personal-best in the pole vault (4.00m), moving her into third in program history. It's also the best in the Ivy League.
Kara Steele won the triple jump (11.85m), which places her right outside the conference's top 10.
Jalah Morris had her best shot-put throw of the winter (12.98m). That moves her into the top 10 in women's indoor history.
Hadley Wilhoite was fourth in the high jump (1.63m) with a new personal-best while Lindsey Schmidt finished sixth (1.58m). Clare Martin placed second ahead of 14 runners in the 800m with a 2:16.43. Erin Endres was sixth in the mile (5:14.22) among 23 competitors.
After this weekend, the Tigers head to Boston for Ivy Heps (Feb. 23-24). The women's team placed sixth last year and are looking for their first indoor crown since 2011.
