It'll be the second consecutive year Princeton has taken part in a match at Centercourt, with the Tigers and Mississippi battling to a 5-2 Ole Miss win on Feb. 9, 2018. This time, the Tigers will face Wisconsin Friday at 6:30 p.m.
More info on the event can be found here. The home matches will be videostreamsed on ESPN3 here.
Princeton is newly ranked by the ITA this week, checking in at No. 50. With no new player rankings out this week, Karl Poling remains ranked 125th in singles and Damian Rodriguez and Ryan Seggerman are ranked 27th in doubles. The Tigers are 10-4 on the season and are coming off winning their last two matches, both by 4-1 scores, at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Alabama. This weekend will begin two straight weekends of matches in the Garden State before the Tigers head to California on their spring trip.
Live results for the matches are available here.
The Badgers are 6-2 and snapped a three-match winning streak with a 4-3 home loss to Oregon last Sunday.
Wisconsin has won four of the five meetings all-time. The teams played three times between 1985 and 1995 before the last two meetings, both 4-3 Wisconsin wins, in 2016 and 2017.
Princeton and St. John's last met in 2013 in a 5-2 Tiger win in Jadwin after St. John's won two meetings with Princeton in 2012 in a series Princeton leads 14-3. Princeton has won all three meetings with NJIT, between 2011 and 2017.
St. John's is 6-3 after winning a Wednesday match against Fairleigh Dickinson. NJIT is 2-5 heading into a Friday match against Binghamton.
After the weekend, Princeton will host Buffalo and Bryant next Saturday.
