Freshman Raunak Khosla had already had a memorable debut season before he made his individual debut at the Ivy League Championships. By the time Thursday was finished, his season was officially a record-setting one.
Khosla broke the Princeton record in the 200 IM two times — once over former Ivy champ Teo D'Alessandro, and once over his prelim time — and upset two-time reigning champion Mark Andrew of Penn to win the Ivy League title in the event in an Ivy championship meet-record time of 1:42.80.
Khosla led Andrew following the fly and back legs, but Andrew grabbed a narrow edge on the breast and led by .03 of a second as the duo hit the 50 free in a two-man duel for the Ivy title. Khosla was .2 of a second faster in the final 50 and showed the emotion of his victory after he touched the wall .17 of a second faster than his Penn rival. What an @IvyLeague Championships debut for Raunak Khosla! Khosla's win helped Princeton narrow the gap on Penn for second place following two days of the Ivy Championships. Harvard currently leads the field with 525.5 points, while Penn is second with 384 points. Princeton, which added big points in the 1-meter diving event, is now third with 372 points, while Yale is fourth with 342.5 points.Khosla shares some thoughts following his record-setting win in the 200 IM! #TigerUp pic.twitter.com/TAKXyndsTH

Senior Murphy McQuet got Princeton some early points when he finished the 500 free in 4:21.66, good enough for fourth place overall. Freshman Brendan Firlie added a win in the B final in 4:22.77.
Khosla followed with his thriller in the 200 IM, and Christian Feiler went 19.86 to take eighth in the 50 free.
The diving duo of Colten Young and Charlie Minns followed up their terrific 2018 postseason with a 2-3 finish in the 1-meter championship. Reigning Ivy Diver of the Year Jonathan Suckow claimed the title with 377.10 points to win the title, while Young earned second place with 338.60 points; it was Young's second consecutive runner-up finish to Suckow at the Ivies, as both had historic performances in the 2018 3-meter championships.
Minns earned a solid third-place finish, the best of his Princeton career, with 316.25 points.
The quartet of Feiler, Tyler Lin, Derek Cox and McQuet closed the meet with a fifth-place finish in the 200 free relay in 1:19.22.
Friday is another full day of competition, with prelims starting at 11 and finals starting at 6. All sessions for the remainder of the weekend will be streamed live on ESPN+.
