Thibodeau wins Long Jump at FastTrack National Invitational

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Jesse Thibodeau won the long jump at the FastTrack National Invitational on Friday afternoon at the OceanBreeze Athletic Complex.
Thibodeau matched his career best (7.31m), the second best among Ivy foes. Of the 20 people in the event, Thibodeau was one of just three over 7.00m.
Sebastian Silveira (8.37) and Taraje Whitfield (8.40) finished 1-2 in their heat in the 60m hurdles. Silveira just missed qualifying for the final by one position, placing ninth of 52 runners.
Will Drury was fifth in the pole vault (4.90m), his best of the season while Jack Cahillane was eighth (4.65m). Harry Lord set a new personal-best with a 4.25m.
Austin Princewill placed second in the triple jump (15.23m) among 30 jumpers. His jump would put third in the conference.
Princeton will have over 20 members participating in the BU Valentine Invitational tomorrow (Feb. 9).
