Adam Kelly Named USTFCCCA Indoor Mid-Atlantic Field Athlete of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. – Adam Kelly has been selected as the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) Indoor Mid-Atlantic Regional Field Athlete of the Year, the organization announced today.

He is just one of four competitors in Men's Track and Field history to be named a Regional Athlete of the Year, joining the likes of Conor McCullough (2012, indoor), Donn Cabral (2012, outdoor) and Damon McLean (2013, indoor).

Kelly won his second straight Ivy League Heps indoor weight throw title (22.12m) last Saturday. In his four years, he's never finished lower than second. He was also picked as the Ivy Heps Most Outstanding Male Field Performer as Princeton won its fifth straight indoor Heps crown. His top throw of the winter (22.53m) made him the seventh seed at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Mar. 9.
