Old Dominion Takes Series Finale Over Princeton

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Monarchs defeated the Princeton Tigers, 15-1, at Bud Metheny Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
Old Dominion produced seven runs in the first inning and three more in the second frame which put the game out of reach. The Tigers' lone run came in the ninth inning as Ramzi Haddad knocked in Nadir Lewis. The home squad finished with 16 hits and seven walks in the victory.
Ryan Meszaros made his collegiate debut and pitched two scoreless stanzas, striking out two. Trey Ramsey was also unscored upon in 1 2/3 innings of work.
Princeton (3-11) gets Ivy League action underway this weekend (Mar. 23-24) vs. Dartmouth at Clarke Field. The doubleheader on Saturday gets started at 11:30 a.m.
