Princeton Regains Class of 2006 Cup With Takedown of Georgetown

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 2 women's lightweight rowing team regained the Class of 2006 Cup, taking down the No. 6 Georgetown Hoyas by over three seconds at Lake Carnegie on Saturday afternoon.

Princeton raced out to a 7:25.8 margin while Georgetown crossed at 7:29.0. The V4 (7:21.7) also earned a victory, crossing three seconds ahead of the Hoyas (7:24.7). Georgetown nabbed the 2x grouping and 3V4 contest as well.
Following the competition, the team honored the Class of 2019, Grace Cordsen, Mackensey King, Grace Miles and Heather Milke.
The Tigers improved to 16-1 in program history against Georgetown. Princeton will take a week break for the Eastern Sprints in Centerville, Mass., on May 5.
