In Pivotal Ivy League Weekend, Princeton will visit Cornell

Two back with six to play. That's where the Princeton softball team enters its weekend trip to Cornell, with Harvard and Columbia tied for first and Penn, who will meet Columbia this weekend in New York, a half-game back.

The Big Red took two out of three in last season's series in Princeton, and the teams split their four-game set in 2017 in Ithaca. Princeton swept four from Cornell the year before in Ithaca.
Princeton is hitting .319 as a team in conference play with four regulars above .300 in Kaylee Grant (.514), Allison Harvey (.413), Megan Donahey (.370) and Mackenzie Meyer (.348). Allie Reynolds has thrown greater than two-thirds of the innings for the Tigers on the Ivy season, logging a 6-5 record and a 3.14 ERA.Â
Among the Tigers' top-50 individual national rankings on the season overall are Reynolds' 16th-best walks per seven, at 1.05, Kaylee Grant's 24th-best OBP at .527 and her 37th-best batting average of .421, and Ali Blanchard's 47th-best 4.80 hits allowed per seven and her 48th-best 82 Ks per seven.Â
Cornell is hitting .274 in Ivy play with Allison Kerce leading the way at a .404 average. Katie Lew (2-8, 11.08) and Ashley Delany (1-4, 8.53) have led things from the circle for the BIg Red in the Ivy.Â
Following the weekend, Princeton will close out the regular season with a trip to Dartmouth May 4-5.Â
