No. 2 Princeton Finishes Up Regular Season at Eastern Sprints

WORCESTER, Mass. – The No. 2 Princeton men's lightweight rowing squad wrapped up the Eastern Sprints today.
The V8 (6:27.956) dropped Columbia (6:29.932), Navy (6:30.716) and Harvard (6:32.548) in its heat to advance to the Grand Final. In the final, the team nabbed the fourth spot (6:28.36), behind Yale (6:16.29), Harvard (6:22.00) and Brown (6:24.82).
2V placed second in its preliminary race, (6:02.935), securing a spot in the final. Cornell won the final while Princeton was fourth (6:52.297).
3V moved to the Petite Final, defeating Georgetown (7:00.64) easily by almost 15 seconds (6:45.23).
Princeton will wait for the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Selection Show on Tuesday (May 21, 7 p.m.) for seeding at the IRA Championships (May 31st-June 2).
