Senior Allie Klimkiewicz and sophomore Sophie Cantine both competed on the final day of the NCAA East Regionals for the Tigers.

Cantine raced in the quarterfinals of the women's 1500 after advancing out of the first round with a PR of 4:21.02 on Thursday. Today she posted a 4:24.77 (52.09, 1:12.13, 1:08.98, 1:11.58) to finish ninth in heat 2 and 18th overall.

Klimkiewicz raced in her second quarterfinal in two days. After competing in the steeplechase yesterday, Klimkiewicz took on the 5k today and finished with a 16:45.85 (39.56, 1:22.31, 1:21.57 ,1:18.89, 1:17.62, 1:18.72, 1:20.85, 1:22.30, 1:22.31, 1:23.12, 1:23.16, 1:22.69, 1:12.79). She started to make moves around 3400 meters when she gained ground on three athletes, and ticked off another runner one lap later to sit in 16th at the bell lap. Klimkiewicz continued to push herself and moved up two spots to finish 14th in heat 1.

Princeton advances sophomore Obiageri Amaechi to championships in Austin, Texas in the women's discus throw. Seventh one year ago, Amaechi will have another chance at the title on June 8.
