Results

Princeton went 1-2-3 in the triple jump at the West Point Twilight Meet with freshman Dayo Abeeb taking top honors. Abeeb won with a 15.21 (49-11) with senior Stefan Amokwandoh second with a 15.17 (49-9.25). In third place was freshman Austin Princewill who had a mark of 14.71 (48-3.25).

Freshman Chandler Ault won the javelin with a 66.11 (216-10). His best throw came on his third attempt, while he also had throws of 64.49, 63.62, 63.44, 62.57 and 62.97.

Senior Adam Kelly was the top collegian in the hammer throw with a throw of 68.90 (226) on his final attempt.

Sophomores Joe Sartini and Cole Sandvold both clocked PRs in the 800. Sartini was third in heat 3 with a 1:54.18 in the 800 (54.78, 59.40) to finish 14th overall. Sandvold won heat 4 with a 1:54.95 (56.03, 58.92). Senior Franklin Aririguzoh also competed and finished with a 1:55.22 (54.56, 1:00.66).

In the 1500, sophomore Ed Trippas placed fourth as he crossed the line at 3:48.61(44.68, 1:00.95, 1:02.25, 1:00.73). Sophomore Drake Anzano was 12th at 3:56.06 (44.94, 1:01.56, 1:02.04, 1:07.54).

Princeton hosts the IC4A Championship this weekend at Weaver Stadium - the final qualifying meet of the season.
