Princeton Remains No. 5 In Penn Monto/NFHCA National Coaches’ Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – After a 1-1 weekend against two top-ten foes, the Princeton Tigers remain No. 5 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA National Coaches' Poll.

North Carolina still remains at the top, collecting 37 first-place votes, followed by Duke, Connecticut, Maryland and Princeton. Each team in the top five picked up at least one first-place vote.

The Tigers dropped a heartbreaker to No. 1 North Carolina on Friday, falling 4-3. The Tar Heels scored three times in the final five minutes. Princeton rebounded with a thrilling 2-1 double overtime victory over then-No. 10 Wake Forest. For her performances over the weekend, Grace Baylis earned Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week.

This weekend, Princeton hosts No. 20 Albany on Friday (4 p.m.) and No. 17 Penn State on Sunday (12 p.m.). Each game can be streamed on ESPN+ while Sunday's action will also be available on NBC Sports Philadelphia+.
