Winners of two of the last three Ivy League titles, the Princeton women's golf team will begin a new season Sunday with the first of the two-day William & Mary Fall Invitational at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
Results will be available here.
The 10-team field will compete on Kingsmill Resort's River Course, which has a par of 72 and measures 6,025 yards. Two rounds are set for Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, and Monday's single round will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Princeton and host William & Mary will compete alongside Boston University, Delaware State, James Madison, Longwood, Radford, Richmond, UNCG and Wofford.
Princeton returns its top four players in last year's lineup from the Ivy League Championship, including senior first-team All-Ivy Leaguer Maya Walton, sophomore second-teamer Sophie Siminoff, junior Anabelle Chang and senior Alison Chang. That foursome joins senior Annie Kong and sophomore Emma Zhao as returners, all of whom will be making the trip to Williamsburg. The team adds two freshmen this year in Tiffany Kong and Grace Ni.
The event is the first of four on the fall slate for the Tigers, who will head to Michigan State's Mary Fossum Invitational Sept. 22-23, host the Princeton Invitational Sept. 28-29, and visit the Yale Invitational Oct. 4-6.
