Women's Track & Field to Compete at Crimson Elite, Scarlet & White Meet

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track & field team will resume competition at a pair of meets in the state of Massachusetts on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1.
Princeton will first compete at the Crimson Elite hosted by Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Friday January 31 then Scarlet and White Meet in Boston, Massachusetts, on Saturday hosted by Boston University.

Last week Princeton competed at the Columbia Challenge, There were several highlights, including Annika Kelly's fifth-place finish in the weight throw. Her mark of 17.63 meters was just three inches off her all-time PR and the fifth-farthest throw in program history.
Competing in the 3K for the first time and in a highly-competitive field, Sophie Cantine delivered a strong performance as she finished fifth overall in 9:23.93 seconds. Her time was the eighth-fastest time in program history.
Katie DiFrancesco posted the second-fastest time in the Ivy League and finished 12th in the 200 meters; her time of 24.56 was narrowly short of her PR of 24.51 set at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational in January 2019.
