Men’s Tennis to Open ECAC Championship Against Penn

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's tennis team will open play at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship with a matchup against the University of Pennsylvania on Friday, February 14 at 9 a.m. in Ithaca, New York.
The tournament will be held on the campus of Cornell University and will run from Friday, February 14 until Sunday, February 16.
Tiger Notes
Princeton is 5-2 on the season and is coming off a 6-1 win over the University of North Carolina at Charlotte on Sunday, February 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Tigers currently two nationally-ranked doubles teams; Ryan Seggerman and Payton Holden checked in at No. 8 while Justin Barki and Thomas Bosancic were tabbed at No. 4 in the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Doubles Rankings announced on Wednesday, February 5.
Scouting Penn
The Quakers are 3-3 on the season, most recently falling to No. 12 Baylor University 7-0 on Saturday, February 8 in Waco, Texas.
Princeton and Penn most recently met on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The Tigers came out on top 5-2 inside Jadwin Gymnasium. The Quakers finished with an 18-10 record last season and went 2-5 in Ivy League play.
