No. 9 Women's Tennis Earns 7-0 Wins Over Towson, FDU

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's tennis team didn't drop a set Saturday, downing both Towson University and Fairleigh Dickinson University 7-0 inside Jadwin Gymnasium.
No. 9 Princeton vs. Towson
The Tigers were able to successfully take the doubles point; Grace Joyce and Daria Frayman defeated Alexa Martinez and Themis Haliou 6-3 at No. 1 while Zoe Howard and Clare McKee earned a 6-2 win over Phoebe Collins and Amelia Lawson at No. 2. At the No. 3 position, Nathalie Rodilosso and Jayme Leschly picked up a 6-1 victory over Jessica Assenmacher and Elessa Jacobs.
Princeton's dominance carried over to singles as the Tigers did not drop a set. At No. 1, No. 98 Frayman defeated Haliou 6-0, 6-1 and at No. 2 Joyce overcame Lawson 6-1, 6-0. At the No. 3 position McKee prevailed over Martinez 6-1, 6-0 and Maia Sung took down Sarah Pospischill 6-0, 6-0. At No. 5. Chen overcame Jacobs 6-0, 6-0 and at the No. 6 position, Leschly earned a 6-3, 6-2 win over Lauryn Jacobs.

#34 Brianna Shvets earned a quick 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 over A. Vorozheikina and Rodilosso followed with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Anamaria Vladescu at No. 6. At the No. 5 position, Chen defeated Patricia Eftenoiu 6-1, 6-1 then #71 Zoe Howard prevailed 6-1, 6-1 over Shreya Gulia at No. 2. Sung overcame Smriti Singh 6-0, 6-4 at the No. 4. Position then at No. 3, Stephanie Schrage picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win over Amina Lasheen.
The Tigers quickly won all three doubles matches; Rodilossi and Shvets prevailed 6-0 against Vorozheikina and Eftenoiu at No. 1 then McKee and Howard would also earn a 6-0 victory at No. 2 over Lasheen and Gulia. At the No. 3 position, Sung and Chen earned a 6-3 win over Vladescu and Singh.
