Princeton Drops 2020 Opener To Penn State

Nadir Lewis collected one of the Tigers' four hits, adding a stolen base and run scored. Ramzi Haddad, Carlos Abello and Eric Marasheski also had hits in the game.
The Nittany Lions opened up the scoring with four runs in the second inning. The Lions cut the deficit to three as a wild pitch allowed Lewis to scoot home. Penn State produced a big seven fourth inning that put the game out of reach.
Andrew Gnazzo, Eric Hoefer and Eric Rojas combined for nine strikeouts in the loss. Princeton and Penn State will play a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. tomorrow.
