Bullock's 13-Goal Month Earns ECAC, WHCA February Honors

February may be the year's shortest month, but Carly Bullock made sure it felt plenty long for Princeton's opponents.
Scoring 13 goals in nine games on the month, a number that was 40 percent of the team's goals for the month, Bullock earned honors as the Women's Hockey Commissioners Association's National Player of the Month and as the ECAC Player of the Month.
The goals helped Princeton win seven of those nine games in February, including the first game of an eventual ECAC quarterfinal series win over Quinnipiac that wrapped once the calendar flipped to March.
Bullock added five assists for a team-high 18 points on the month.
The productive month helped move her to 29 goals and 51 points on the season, the ninth-most goals in a season in program history and the most for any Tiger since 2004. With one more goal, Bullock would become only the fifth player in program history with a 30-goal season and only the second to do it in the last 25 years. Now with 94 goals and 156 points in her career, Bullock stands fifth in program history in goals and seventh in points.
Bullock and the Tigers will head to Cornell for the conclusion of the ECAC Hockey League tournament this weekend, with the second-seeded Tigers taking on third-seeded Clarkson at 4 p.m. Saturday after top-seeded Cornell and fourth-seeded Harvard meet at 1 p.m. The winners will meet Sunday at 2 p.m.
