Princeton Makes Trip To No. 8 Ole Miss

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers head to No. 8 Ole Miss for a three-game set this weekend.
Princeton is 0-4 this year, dropping each contest to the Penn State Nittany Lions. The Tigers lost two one-run contests in the series. Eric Marasheski led the offense with a .300 average.
The Tigers went 14-26 last season and 8-12 in the Ivy League. Some of the team's top returners include All-Ivy performers David Harding (.243/.345/.358) and Andrew Gnazzo (4-4, 4.33 ERA, 8.3 strikeouts per nine).
Other returners include Jake Boone (.312/.342/.393), Taylor Beckett (.288/.390/.360), Chris Davis (.281/.360/.407) and Nadir Lewis (.266/.361/.380). Boone led the squad in hits (54) while Beckett produced 14 RBI, Davis swiped four bags and Lewis paced the offense with 29 runs.
James Proctor threw two complete games and had an impressive 11.3 strikeouts per nine innings. Eric Hoefer led the Tigers with 15 appearances and Conor Nolan was the closer, securing five saves.
Ole Miss is 11-1 this season and currently on a 11-game winning streak. The Rebels won 41 games and reached a Super Regional last year. Anthony Servideo paces the Rebels with a .452 average and 1.420 OPS.
Princeton and Ole Miss get started on Friday with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday's battle will get underway at 1:30 p.m. while Sunday's finale is at 12 p.m. Each game is on the SEC Network +.
